Original Sin, freedom and liberty

The first man, when God created him, he didn't know evil and, therefore, could only act in a good way, according to God's law. Know evil implied man would have to choose good instead of evil. That would be real freedom.

There was a tree, with would give man the knoledge of good and evil. God forbade man eating it's fruits. But the devil convinced Eve and Adam to do so, believing they'd become superior to their creator. That's the original sin, and we all have to be cleaned from it if with baptism.

Falibilitas Papae I

The first Pope to ever commit an error was Saint Peter. The testimony to this event was Saint Paul, whom I cite bellow: 11   And when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he clearly was wrong. * 12 For, until some people came from James, *  he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to draw back and separated himself, because he was afraid of the circumcised. k 13 And the rest of the Jews *  [also] acted hypocritically along with him, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy. l 14 But when I saw that they were not on the right road in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of all, m  “If you, though a Jew, are living like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?” This is not contrary to Papal infallibility but shows it's limits and is a way to show man's dependency in relation to  God.
