Falibilitas Papae - Introduction

Today I will be starting a weekly series of posts on the errors and heresies of some Popes through history, and the on Popes which reached the supreme pontificate throgh  uncannonical ways.
My objective is NOT to attack church doctrine, just show with exepmles, the limitations of papal power and papal infalibility, as defined by the first Vatican Counsil. This work will be inspired by the lecture(s) of father gregory hesse, which can be found on youtube with the same title Falibilitas Papae.

Falibilitas Papae I

The first Pope to ever commit an error was Saint Peter. The testimony to this event was Saint Paul, whom I cite bellow: 11   And when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he clearly was wrong. * 12 For, until some people came from James, *  he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to draw back and separated himself, because he was afraid of the circumcised. k 13 And the rest of the Jews *  [also] acted hypocritically along with him, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy. l 14 But when I saw that they were not on the right road in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of all, m  “If you, though a Jew, are living like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?” This is not contrary to Papal infallibility but shows it's limits and is a way to show man's dependency in relation to  God.
